The Alpine Chalet
Packwood, WA, near Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens,
and White Pass Ski Area

This cabin was completed in November 2006. It is a 3 bedroom, two bath cottage chalet style lodge. This home features wood accents and trim with birch floors, hickory cabinets, pine doors and ceilings and timber accents. The large deck is partially covered and is perfect for that evening BBQ. You will enjoy the new hot tub overlooking the lush green forest. Relax and sit by the gas fireplace and read a good book or enjoy a great movie. Like our other Packwood cabin, it’s not uncommon to see a herd of elk pass by on any given morning or evening.

Many guests come and don’t want to leave the comfort of the cabin because it is so relaxing. Others venture out into the Mt. Rainier National Forest, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, White Pass Ski Area, Mt. St. Helens, the Cowlitz River, snowmobiling, fourwheeling, horseback riding, rafting, the snow parks and recreation areas, and the many concerts and cultural events of east Lewis County.
